Thank you for your interest in being part of our shared kitchen in the historic Old Colorado City Hall.

Our kitchen is equipped with three flexible preparation areas that each contain a prep sink, trash receptacle and small undercounter refrigerator. Hand sinks are shared. Our licensing allows two individuals per prep area at a time with a total of six people in the kitchen prep area.

Shared kitchen equipment includes:

  • 6 burner Hestan flat top range with gas oven
  • Double stack combi-oven.
  • Double stack convection oven
  • 15 gallon tilt skillet
  • 20 quart planetary mixer
  • Cooling racks
  • Three part sink and undercounter high speed dish machine.

Rental of space in the walk-in cooler and freezer is available separately. Smallware is not provided. All rental includes daily use of two dish towels,sani-buckets, paper towels, gloves and dishwashing soap and chemicals. Trash removal and monthly deep cleaning is included; however, all shared kitchen members are expected to clean and leave their work area and kitchen equipment used clean and sanitary with trash removal into provided receptacles.

Our kitchen is climate-controlled with comfortable, ergonomic flooring, beautiful natural light, a state-of-the-art sound system, adjustable height prep tables and security cameras.

Our shared kitchen customers are very important to us. Our facility is founded in a culture of cooperation, care for all, innovation and collaboration with no room for discrimination, harassment or disruptive behavior of any kind. Illegal substances, smoking and vaping are restricted on any part of the premises. All equipment is shared and cooperation is key in reserving and coordinating timed use. Safety and cleanliness are a top priority and each business is expected to align with the health department with Pop as a primary commissary kitchen, carry professional liability insurance-$1,000,000.00, be a professionally organized entity (LLD, S-Corp, etc) and have current required Food Safety Protection Manager certification.

Rental requirements:

  • 6 hour minimum hours/month
  • Booking of time and equipment through the Food Corridor website
  • Kitchen hours: 3:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m $17.00/hour, extended hours 3:00-11:00 p.m. available for events, prix fixe dinners, etc. Thank you for your interest and inquiry.
  • White glove service: Please leave your space cleaned and in good order for the next member.
  • Non-refundable application fee for facility tour, initial meeting and business processing $50.00 at time of application payable to Pop Kitchen & Events on-site.
  • Pre-launch orientation and in-service in the use of equipment, policy review, etc.
  • Signed shared kitchen agreement including all documentation with refundable $204.00 refundable white glove etiquette and reservation deposit.
